DDB Gold Spot-Futures Arbitrage
This is a paired gold trade: buy one market, sell the other. Usually that means buying gold spot and selling the futures contract, or flipping it when the spread runs the other way.
The strategy is all-weather as it does not depend on whether gold goes up or down. What matters is which side is stronger over the same period; the stronger side covers the weaker side and what is left is the net profit for the period.
Gold is a stable, long-term asset that is not going away. As long as it trades, the spread between spot and futures will always exist and is a market with no shortage of trading opportunities.
